Hello DeeAnn and Michael---
It has been about 10 months now since we brought Lucy home and she is now 1
year old.  This time has not always been easy (we forgot all the challenges of
puppyhood, added to the raising of 3 young children) but it has been well worth it.
She is such a sweet, loving dog and so much fun!  She potty trained very quickly
and learned to come even before we started our first puppy class (she was about
4 months old when we started the class).  She did well in class and I am thinking
we may do one more to refresh.
She plays very well with the children and has never been harsh.  Our boys know
Lucy will only be as rough with them as they are with her.  She does love to
play!!!  I have noticed though she is calming a little and she can join us in the
same room on movie nights now and will actually relax instead of wanting to play
the whole time.  Our daughter has been very motherly to Lucy and has helped
quite a bit in her care. Lucy fits right in to our family and we love her so much!
We recently got her hair shaved (as you can see in a few of the pictures)which I
thought we would never do but the upkeep has been so much easier and bath
time (dry time) cut in half.  We plan to let her hair grow back out some but not to
its full length.  When she is outside, she very often finds the dirt and rarely fails to
play in it when she gets the chance.  She is very polite though and always sits
very still when I need to wipe off her feet before she can come back in the house.
Lucy is complimented all the time on her looks and her sweetness.  She is so
friendly and always greets strangers with a vigorously wagging tail.
Thank you for the great care you take in your pets and the breeding process.  I
enjoy getting on your website every now and then.  Say hi to Lucy's dad, Diego.
As you can see, I have included a few of the many pictures we have taken along
the way. Sorry it has taken me so long to be in touch.  I hope you all have a
wonderful 2007!

Hi!

It's been a while, but while looking at your site (as we frequently do to see all of
Cooper's family!) I decided I need to send you some pics of Cooper- I think I brag
on him as much as I do my own children!  He is absolutely the most
eager-to-please and best natured dog I have ever had the pleasure of having- or
even knowing.  My sister-in-law said we need to hurry and add to our will- she
wants the dog!

Cooper is truly truly like a member of our family-  he is the sweetest most
obedient pet we could ever want.  My husband said he gets more smoochies
than anyone else in the family- and I'm sure he does.

Attached are a couple of pictures- hope you enjoy.  And if anyone ever wants an
email address or a phone number as a reference, feel free to give them mine.

Hi Dee Ann,

I saw some of your new website, and it looks great!!  Those puppies are just adorable!!  You know
how I told you Daisy loves chasing bubbles out in our backyard?  Well, I finally got a good picture
of her this weekend jumping for one!!  She can jump like a kangaroo!!  I'll send you another picture
of her just resting too, since it's so darn cute!!  She does need her face trimmed though, so don't
mind that!!  I'm trying to get a mobile groomer, but they're all so booked!!  Every time I take her
to get groomed, I have to pick her up and take her back there, because she hates it so much, and I
don't know why.  When we're signing it, she'll just sit by the door with her tail in between her
legs, and I just don't want to make her go throught that anymore!!  Anyways, talk to ya later!!
Good Luck with all the puppies and the new website!!

Hello Dee Ann,
It has been a while since I have contacted you.  I hope that you and your family are doing well.  It looks like you have a
lot going on to keep you busy.  :-)  Bella is doing great.  She will be 7 months old in a few days.  She continues to grow
and is a great dog.  She weighs about 42 pounds.  She is solid muscle.  Bella enjoys jogging with my wife, playing in the
back yard with the family, and swimming in the pool!  She loves the pool.  She will jump in and follow us all over the
pool.  She swims like a fish.  Bella has gotten good at catching things like balls, Frisbees, and just about anything you
throw her way.  I could go on an on about her.  She is a joy to have around.  She is the best dog I have ever had!

I noticed before your web page went down that Hoot was not on your "Dogs" page any more.  What happened to Hoot?

Take Care,
Chip Larsen
'Bella' resides with her family in Mississippi.  Her 4 legged parents are Hoot & Starr.
Hoot is now living the good life around the farm here...taking a break from breeding

Vergil  (parents-Pearl X Diego)
*There are no words to describe how wonderful Vergil is.  He has his little schedule;
eat, play, potty, nap and he repeats it all day long.  For whatever reason, he only poops
in the pine straw area of the yard and this is a great benefit for grass cutting purposes.
He is even better than we ever hoped for.  Our first vet appointment was a thumbs up
perfectly healthy report.  The only problem is we never thought we would get out of
there, with everyone raving over him!

Dear Dee Ann,
I recently sent photos of phoebe but dont know if you received them--so--I took a few more pictures. These
really came out great.
I hope you add a picture of Phoebe to your website along with all of her brothers and sisters!!!!
Please feel free to use us as a reference as well as one of the testimonials.
Phoebe is just amazing. We recently had her clipped but I couldnt resist leaving the poofy part on her head
really long so I can still put a PONY TAIL in it.  Doesnt she look just darling?
Phoebe can do EVERYTHING, sit, stay, walk off leash, lie down, and ALWAYS comes on command. There is
no smarter dog then this one!!! She is so kind and gentle around Jordan--and having a child with
disabilities--it is so comforting to know that she is always loving towards him.
Occasionaly Jordan will open the front door and let Phoebe out--but she just waits for him to give her a
command. She knows that his speech is limited and will just sit until I come out to get her.
She doesnt spend much time alone--because I take her most places that I go--she loves to accompany me
on errands and taking the kids around town.
She is a pleasure around our house guests when we entertain, and I never have to worry about her around all
of the kids that come over. Phoebe is usually the hit-she is more than happy to play with anyone who will
join her in a game of fetch. At only  eleven months--she knows to go to her corner if we are eating. I hope
you will add her to your web page--We all love her--but candidly I must admit that I am absolutely crazy
over her--she is my pride and joy.  If my husband would let me have another one--my name would be on
your reservation list right now!!!

'Noodle The Doodle'
Hi!  I'm not sure if you remember us or not, but we are the family who bought
Noodle.  I just wanted to write you a not to let you know that I've given your name
and e-mail address to several people.  Our Noodle has been the most amazing dog!
Everywhere we go people ask us about her!  She runs with me, sleeps with my
daughter, plays with our cat and is always so happy!  She's always with us,
following us from room to room.  Her long shaggy black hair doesn't ever shed!  She
ahs grown huge, but still thinks she is a lap dog!
We are so happy with her! I've attached a photo of her so you can see how she has
grown!
-Thank You So Much, Starr-Greenville, SC

**It brings us great saddness to report  that Noodle has passed on.  She was hit by a car and
suffered grave injuries.**

Hi D-
It seems like forever since I've updated you but Barley is now 12 weeks old and
gets cuter (if possible) every day!
He is so smart it is scary!!  I show him a trick, he knows it after a few tries!  He
knows to sit, stay, shake, lay down, and roll over.  He started 'puppy class' last
week and is way ahead of his peers!  He is learning to 'heel' and 'come' now.  I
venture to say he'll have it in no time.  In addition, I hung a bell by the door and
we ring it every time we take him out.  He now 'rings it' on his own to go potty.
Only to 'poop' however, as he still cannot relate it to peeing outside.  he still
makes a few 'pee' mistakes on occasion but for the most part is doing great
considering his age!

Thank you fo reverything...he is the love of my life!!

Hi Dee-
I have included a picture of Hunter at 5 1/2 months.  I can't tell you how much we
are enjoying having him.  He has the best disposition.  He is very tolerant of my 7
year old wrestling with him. While I work he will occasionally come up and put
his head in my lap!
I musty tell you, one of the surprises for me was his coat texture.  It is silky! I know
this may change, but I love it!
I am so glad we added him to our family.
Thank You So Much-Lori

-Thank you so much for the birthday package for Bailey.  You all are
the best.
We love every minute we spend with Bailey.  We often say how he is
the best dog we have ever had.  He is smart, obedient, and such a
lover boy.  We take him to Doggie Day Care about once a week so
he is socialized with other dogs.  He LOVES the boat and swimming
in the lake.
I hope you enjoy the pictures from his birthday.  He had a cake and
presents too!! He is a little shaggy now too. Keep in touch.

Hi Dee,
How are things going around there?  I checked out the updated website, it looks nice.  When will
you be breeding one of the English golden retrievers to Hoot?  I would love to have one of those
puppies!!  I would have to do ALOT of sweet talking to my husband!!  Daisy is a handful!!
She is so precious, and the most beautiful dog I've ever seen!!!  Although I may be a little bias,
since she is MY dog!!  She weighs 43 pounds now, and my vet said she is probably full grown.
She is alot smaller than I thought she would be.  She's just right, not too big, and not too small!!
Fetching for hours at a time is still her favorite thing to do.  I think she is obsessed with her
tennis ball.  She carries it in her mouth from room to room.  I even noticed the other week, she
was sound asleep on the couch, with the ball in her mouth!!  She is so funny!!  How is Carter
doing in his Pre-K class?  Here are a few newer pictures of Daisy!!  Hope to hear from you
soon!
The last photo there (1607) was before I had her shaved down for the summer.  She is really hot
natured, so I had her cut really short a few months ago!!  These pictures are from July, so they're
not really new, but I will send you more when I can!! Kristen

Hi Dee Ann,
I hope that you and your family are doing well!  I wanted to write to you and send you some
pictures of Bella, who we got from you last Christmas.  She turned 1year old on Nov. 13th.  I can’
t believe how fast this year has gone and how big Bella has gotten.  Bella is a wonderful addition
to our family.  I wouldn’t want to imagine our lives without her.  She is the best pet we could
have ever asked for, she is sweet, playful and obedient and she doesn’t shed at all!  It is
fabulous!  Whenever I take her to the vet or if we are traveling and people see her they always
want to know what kind of dog she is, they always say that she is the most beautiful dog they
have ever seen and I always have to give them your information so that they could get on for
themselves.  Thanks again for breeding such a treasure.  I hope that you and your family have a
wonderful holiday season.

Hi DeeAnn- Looked at the website today and saw that
you have  puppies!  Yeah!!  I'm sure you are busy.  Hope the
weather is nicer  in GA than in Missouri.  It has been sooo very cold.
Nothing like  standing outside taking a puppy potty when it's about 8
degrees!!   He's worth it though.  Thought you may enjoy a recent
picture.  His  coat is just beautiful. Curly to wavy and thick!  He has a
"patch" of  fur on his back that
we call his "poodle hair".  It's so funny...one area where
the hair  has such a different texture than the rest of his body!
He is  Precious!!  Hope all is well with You and your family.

Dee Ann,
Saw my letter and your request on the website.
Of course, I look all the time to see your new
darlings.  I tried to send you photos yesterday.
Paul finally showed me how.  But I got so excited
about how cute Lilly is that I sent too many.  I
even sent the photos I took on Puppy pick out
day, thinking you might like to use them to
illustrate your process.

For now, I'll just send two really adorable ones.
More will follow.  Lilly did great with her little
procedure.  We pampered her like a princess
and she's all smiles again!

Best to you and the family,
Katrina

Hi Dee Ann,
Well, it's been about 2 years since we
brought Jazper home. (You had
nicknamed him Jay Jay.  Do you remember
him?).  He is the sweetest dog
you could imagine.  Every one who meets
him just loves him, including
other dogs. Even the cat is warming up to
him.  I just wanted you to know
what a happy dog he is, and how much we
love him.  Someone the other
day let me know that there's a labradoodle in
the area who needs a home,
and my son asked why we would want
another dog, since we already had
the best one.
Hope all is well with you and your family.
Sincerely, Simone and family

I got a call today from someone interested in our experiences with you and RoseZ
(couldn't rave enough) -- he knew us and saw us on the website so I had to check it out!
So now I thought I'd do an update.  When she weighed in at 8 weeks old, she was 12
pounds; at 4 months she is now about 25 pounds -- we are hoping that she is at least
half way through growing!   She went to doggie day care for the first time last week
(finally clearing the last of her vaccines) and enjoyed it -- everyone oohed and ahed over
her (they all knew Daisy very well).   The electric fence went in when she was about 12
weeks old and we're working with the Invisible Fence company to train her on it -- she
seems appropriately afraid of the boundary.  We are very close to being potty trained but
aren't quite there yet (basically she's got #1 down and #2 less consistently but I'm
hoping the electric fence will work). She's rung her doggie doorbell a few times on her
own to get out, which is great!  She sits calmly and waits patiently for things, which we
find shocking, still seems really smart (she started to "game" the treat for a pee thing
and converted one pee into 4 or 5 to max out on the treats -- we stopped that pretty
quickly).   She's really been wonderful -- she's my shadow around the house and I've left
her out of the crate a few nights and for 1/2 hour to 1 hour spurts during the day and
she's done nothing wrong during this time (also pretty amazing -- and brave on my part).
I'll try to keep you posted pseudo regularly.    I hope that all is well and that you had a
wonderful holiday.  Shayna

Hi, just wanted to send an update on Lucy.  She is sooo smart and has
amazed us all.  We did some in home training and what a quick learner.
She will do shake, high 5, down, and stay sitting until we give her the
release command.  This week we are working on waving goodbye and she
is only 15 weeks old!  I was also very surprised at how quickly she became
housebroken.  We hung some bells at our front door and when she needs
to go outside she just nudges them with her nose.  It is so nice to hear bells
ring and not scratching at the door.  I have attached a picture of her with
our son doing the high five (as you can see she can even do it while lying
down!)  Her coat is still long and wavy and so soft.  Everyone is loves to pet
her since she is like a big stuffed animal.
Good luck with your upcoming litters! Tina
